This class will go over evolution, its mechanisms, speciation and biodiversity related topics. Speaking of misconceptions, did you know that "meme" was a term first coined by an evolutionary biologist? Although its meaning has since been altered, both senses of the word are useful when discussing evolution. Using a hands on activity and various memes/videos we will address 10 distinct misconceptions to help you "evolve" your understanding of evolutionary biology! No prior experience with evolution is necessary, enjoyment of memes encouraged.
