Brief Biographical Sketch:
Kelsie earned her BA at George Washington University in Archaeology and History, and is currently a joint MA student in Brandeis’ departments of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is also the Social Science co-instructor for the MKTYP. She is particularly interested in the archaeology and history of Mesopotamia in the 1st millennium BCE. She also studies critical theory relating to gender, ritual, performance, and class. During the summer, Kelsie excavates in Israel and travels. Apart from school and work, Kelsie is always listening to music, watching horror movies, and hanging out with her dog, Dusty.
