Brief Biographical Sketch:

Annette Pinstein is a Brandeis undergraduate student of the class of 2021. She is bilingual in French, and English, and received a Baccalaureate high school degree. Learning in several languages taught her the importance of multicultural perspectives in learning, and she hopes to share that with her students. Annette has worked as a Teaching Assistant in a fourth grade classroom (teaching Hebrew on Sunday mornings).

H339: Poetic Meter Workshop in Splash Fall 2021 (Nov. 20 - 21, 2021)
From Shakespearian sonnets to pop songs, meter appears all kinds of verse. Learn about poetic meter, how to identify it, and how to use it in your own writing! We will learn how to recognize and name different types of metric feet, and then will practice including them in our own writing! No prior experience necessary!
