S222: Frontiers in Neurological Surgery in Splash Spring 2019 (Feb. 02, 2019)
Survey of modern technologies, recent breakthroughs, and persisting limitations in human neurosurgery. Potential topics include intraoperative fluorescence and imaging, minimal invasiveness and robotic assistance, and deep hypothermic circulatory arrest. Emphasis will be placed on exploring the current boundaries to safe treatment, as well as how those boundaries are being pushed.

Overview of human cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Emphasis will be placed on common cardiopulmonary medical conditions and their treatment options.
