In the past, Irene has taken ESP programs through MIT and Boston College. Some of the programs she has participated in are Splash!, Spark!, Junction, and HSSP. Currently, Irene is a biology major.

S150: Crash Course to DNA in Splash Fall '16 (Nov. 12, 2016)
This course will cover the Central Dogma of molecular biology, where we will discuss the transition from DNA to protein. Our class will feature a fun DNA extraction experiment from bananas!


S106: Crash Course to DNA in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 01, 2015)
Come learn about one of the most important molecules for life: DNA! Do you know what the central dogma is? If not, this class is for you! We will learn about the basic structure and function of DNA. Fun part: We'll be doing an experiment to extract DNA from fruit!


S64: Crash Course to DNA in Splash Fall 2014 (Nov. 15, 2014)
In this class we will learn all about DNA! What is DNA? Why is it important? How does it work? Additionally, we will be extracting DNA from bananas!
